Micheal Trzos is a Colorado native and Chicago based director. On top of getting to collaborate with this dream team called The Collective, he serves as a teaching artist and director for the New England Youth Theatre in Brattleboro Vermont. A town full of liberal hippies with an attitude. It’s quite lovely.
Recently, he assisted director Monty Cole, on his Jeff Nominated production of The Hairy Ape by Eugene O’Neil and assisted Victory Gardens Theater’s artistic director Chay Yew, on the world premiere production of Marcus Gardley’s An Issue of Blood. Other directing credits include: You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Flora of the Flower Shop, The Cartoon Heroes (playwright/director), Middletown, The Big Black Box Series, Lorenzo the Rat Slayer, The Perfect American Family, Roshomon in Blue (and Pink and Yellow) and the 2013 Brave Young Vaudevillians program–a program dedicated to introducing kids of all abilities to the magic of performance.
Micheal is a proud graduate from the University of Evansville where he received his BFA in theatre performance.
